Mathematics Teacher

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Master’s Degree (S2) in Mathematics, PGSD, or Mathematics Education from a reputable university.

• Available for full-time employment for the academic year 2026–2027.

• Able to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student learning needs (kinesthetic, visual, etc.), while inspiring and motivating students to achieve high academic standards.

• Strong primary classroom management, organizational skills, and a nurturing approach to children.

• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbally and in writing.

• Excellent communication skills, empathetic, and patient with primary-aged students and parents.

• Demonstrates a genuine passion for early childhood/primary education and holistic student development.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a grade-level team.

• Proficient in basic office software, online teaching tools, and digital classroom platforms suitable for primary learners.

Responsibilities:

• Teach primary school students using engaging, hands-on, and student-centered approaches.

• Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons that support students different learning abilities and paces.

• Deliver the Primary Math pathway, ensuring the development of students’ foundational numeracy, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

• Committed to fostering a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment where students feel confident to learn from mistakes.

• Monitor, document, and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and timely academic support.

• Communicate effectively and warmly with parents regarding their children's academic progress and well-being.

• Serve as a homeroom teacher, providing individual care, emotional support, and guidance to students.

• Participate actively in school programmes, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities (ECA).
