Job Title: CAD Developer
Location: Fully Remote, Philippines
Rate: $6.00 - $10.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
As a CAD Developer, you will be responsible for CAD drafting, construction drawing preparation, technical documentation, floor plan interpretation, interior finish-out documentation, and project coordination.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
Experience creating construction drawings and technical documentation.
Ability to interpret floor plans, layouts, and technical markups.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects.
Preferences:
Experience with interior finish-out, commercial construction, or building projects.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC plan coordination.
Experience working with contractors, engineers, or construction teams.
Familiarity with MEP drawings and construction standards.
Experience reviewing and improving existing CAD templates and workflows.
Responsibilities:
Create and update CAD drawings based on floor plans, layouts, markups, and project requirements
Convert field notes, sketches, and hand-drawn plans from electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades into digital CAD documents
Prepare interior finish-out plans and construction documentation for client projects
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications
Coordinate with internal teams to incorporate revisions and project updates
Maintain organized CAD files, layers, and drawing standards
Support improvements in drafting workflows and project turnaround times

Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.
Must be comfortable with using a time-tracking software for payroll purposes.
Must be willing to undergo a background verification check during the final stages of the hiring process.
Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
