Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in any major, preferably in shipping or logistics
Minimum 5 years experience in shipping or logistics
Fluent in English both oral and written
Required Knowledge and Skill(s): shipping and logistics knowledge and regulations, business regulations, agency management, export import, wide network in shipping and logistics, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001
Have achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationship, able to analyze issue and use sound judgment, planning organizing,business process understanding, negotiation, coordination, business intelligence, leveraging network, developing others, team leadership
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all branch activities are well managed
Ensuring and controlling branch activities achieve target
Monitoring branch operational activities and ensuring they are completed on schedule
Monitoring branch activities to achieve target
Monitoring revenue budget achievement at branch
Monitoring branch system and administration
Planning business development at branch
Monitoring general affairs expenditures for cost efficiency purposes
Monitoring project payment both AR (Account Receivable) & AP (Account Payable)
Exploring and getting new business
Reviewing performance of branches regularly
Issuing the white list of local agent based on assessment that has been done
Reviewing the handling of customer complaints
Carrying our monthly review on agency services and take immediate correcitve action
Reviewing branch report both commercial and financial statement
Consolidating information related to business development at branch
Coordinating routine meeting (quarterly, semester, and annual) with branches to share information regarding principal and agency matters
Building good relationship with principals with customers and/or related parties concerned
Retaining, managing & developing the existing market and coordinating the project with another branches
Managing work distribution inside the team
Carrying out coaching to improve staff performance
Setting a challenging working target for staff and review it periodically
Recognizing the team has strength and weaknesses and preparing development needed for each staff
Proposing performance appraisal of team member
Conducting interview for staff recruitment (both at Head Office and Branch)
Preparing data and report for management review
Preparing monthly department activities report
Preparing consolidation report of all branches
Planning annual branch budget
Ensuring QHSE management system are well implemented
