PETUGAS KEBERSIHAN/OFFICE BOY (OB)

About the role

PT. TOP BOGA DISTRINDO is seeking a dedicated and reliable Petugas Kebersihan/Cleaning Service (OB/OG) to join our team in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional working environment across our facilities. The Office Boy will be responsible for ensuring that all office spaces, common areas and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing directly to employee satisfaction, health and safety, and the overall professional image of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct daily cleaning and sanitation of all office areas, including workstations, corridors, toilets, kitchens and meeting rooms

2. Empty and dispose of waste materials in designated areas, ensuring proper segregation of recyclable and non-recyclable waste

3. Maintain and replenish supplies such as soap, towels, toilet paper and other cleaning materials in bathrooms and common areas

4. Clean and polish floors, windows and furniture using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment

5. Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, moving furniture and minor repairs when required

6. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damaged or malfunctioning items to management

7. Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals

8. Support special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning activities as directed

9. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff and management throughout the working day

10. Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules and maintenance activities when required

What we're looking for

1. Minimum junior or senior high school education (SMP/SMK)

2. Previous experience as an Office Boy/Girl or in a similar cleaning and janitorial role is highly desirable

3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

4. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods

5. Punctuality and reliability with a consistent attendance record

6. Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions

7. Good communication skills and a courteous, professional attitude towards staff and visitors

8. Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and chemicals; willingness to learn proper safety protocols

9. Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and respond to urgent cleaning needs

10. Knowledge of Indonesian health and safety regulations related to workplace cleanliness is an advantage
