About the role
PT Filtrona Manufacturing Indonesia is seeking an Order Management Specialist to join our team in Sidoarjo, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of orders throughout our manufacturing and logistics operations. As Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating, processing, and tracking customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and operational excellence in the manufacturing and logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
Receiving, recording, and processing customer orders accurately into the order management system
Coordinating with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
Monitoring order status and providing regular updates to customers regarding delivery schedules
Resolving order discrepancies, delays, and customer inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
Preparing and managing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with logistics requirements
Maintaining accurate records of all orders, including details on quantities, specifications, and delivery dates
Liaising with warehouse and logistics personnel to coordinate stock availability and dispatch
Analysing order trends and reporting on key performance metrics to management
Supporting process improvements and identifying opportunities to enhance order management efficiency
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Order Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service Operations, or Logistics.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
Proficiency in using order management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all documentation
Customer service orientation with a focus on meeting client expectations and resolving issues promptly
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
Knowledge of logistics, supply chain processes, and manufacturing operations is highly desirable
Relevant certifications or qualifications in supply chain management or logistics would be advantageous
