Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily yard operations and coordinate yard personnel.
Ensure proper receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials, equipment, or containers.
Monitor yard inventory and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Transportation teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all loading and unloading activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of the yard, equipment, and vehicles.
Enforce company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in yard operations, warehouse, logistics, or transportation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of inventory control and yard management processes.
Familiarity with safety regulations (K3/HSE).
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP/WMS is an advantage.
