Job Description :
End-to-End Import Customs Clearance Operations (Well-versed in international trade import/export procedures; responsible for reviewing, organizing, and preparing import documentation, including contracts, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other complete sets of clearance documents.
Coordinate with Indonesian Customs and local customs brokers to manage the entire process of equipment import declaration, valuation, duty/tax payment, inspection, and final release)Local Inland Transportation Coordination and Supervision (Responsible for coordinating inland transportation after cargo arrival, liaising with trucking companies, and overseeing the entire transportation process to ensure timeliness and cargo safety)
On-site Arrival and Receiving Management (Manage cargo arrival at port and project site, including quantity verification and damage inspection. Coordinate unloading, handover, and warehousing processes, and maintain accurate records such as arrival logs and customs clearance tracking reports)
Overseas On-site Assignment (Stationed long-term in Batam, Indonesia, responsible for handling the full-cycle import and export customs operations for the company’s locally established entity)
Job Requirements :
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in import/export trade and international customs clearance. Familiar with the full process of general trade import. Candidates with overseas on-site experience are preferred.
Proficient in preparing and reviewing import/export documentation, customs declaration procedures, and handling inspection processes.
Strong ability in on-site coordination upon cargo arrival, handling logistics abnormalities, and communication with relevant parties. Capable of independently resolving unexpected issues in customs clearance and inland transportation.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and meticulous, with strong cross-department communication skills.
Willing to be stationed long-term in Batam, Indonesia, and able to adapt to an overseas assignment working model.
English as the primary working language.
