About the role

Ken Ray Communications Sdn Bhd on Penang Island is looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer. This full-time remote role requires you to create compelling visual designs that effectively convey our clients' messages. You will be at the heart of our creative process, turning ideas into stunning designs for many platforms and media. This position allows you to collaborate on a variety of projects with an innovative and creative team.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing creative design concepts and visual solutions that align with client briefs and brand objectives

2. Designing graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, posters, social media content, websites and advertising materials

3. Creating compelling visual narratives that engage target audiences and communicate key messages effectively

4. Collaborating with internal teams to understand project requirements and refine designs based on feedback

5. Maintaining consistency with brand guidelines whilst exploring creative possibilities within project parameters

6. Preparing design files for production and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards

7. Staying current with design trends, tools and AI technologies to continuously enhance the quality of work

8. Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting established deadlines

9. Contributing ideas during creative brainstorming sessions and team meetings

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence and technical proficiency

2. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools and is familiar with AI-assisted design

3. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

5. Ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into high-quality visual designs

6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work that meets quality standards

7. Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

8. A creative mindset with a passion for staying current with design trends and industry best practices

9. Relevant qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field would be advantageous
