About the role
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team at PT Media Wave Interaktif in South Jakarta. As a contract Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and solutions that shape the strategic direction of our organisation. What you'll be doing
Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to extract valuable insights from complex datasets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and design effective data-driven solutions
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data science and apply them to improve our processes

What we're looking for
Strong background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data manipulation and analysis tools
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques, and the ability to apply them to solve real-world problems
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
