Accountant

Accountant – Jakarta

Location: South Jakarta

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Accountant to manage accounting, finance, and tax activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full finance function, including financial reporting, cash flow management, taxation, compliance, and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record daily accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial reports.

• Monitor and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate recording and timely settlement.

• Prepare and manage payment schedules and coordinate payment processing with authorized approvers.

• Monitor weekly cash flow and coordinate with banks regarding transactions and banking matters.

• Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of withholding tax, VAT (PPN), and other tax obligations in compliance with Indonesian regulations.

• Support tax audits, maintain communication with tax authorities, and monitor changes in tax regulations.

• Assist with external audit activities and maintain proper documentation of accounting and tax records.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and the Sandvik Risk and Control Matrix (RCM), while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.

• Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting processes will be an advantage.
