Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop effective testing strategies.

• Create test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on project requirements.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and project teams.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects until resolution.

• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.

• Collaborate with System Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Prepare and present testing progress, test results, and quality reports.

• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and defect logs.

• Support system implementation, deployment, and post-release validation activities.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and quality standards.

• Assist in troubleshooting application issues and validating system enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role (fresh graduates with relevant internship/project experience are welcome to apply).

• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.

• Familiar with functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Basic knowledge of SQL, REST API testing, or test automation tools is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
