About the role
We are seeking a Sales Operations Mandarin (Renewable Energy) to join our dynamic sales team on a full-time basis at our office in Menteng, Jakarta. This is a strategic role designed to bridge business development and operational excellence in the renewable energy sector. You will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities whilst ensuring seamless coordination between sales activities and operational teams. Your fluency in Mandarin will be essential as you engage with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and partners, positioning you as a key liaison in our international business development efforts.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the renewable energy market, including solar, wind, and other clean energy sectors
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic sales initiatives and inform business development strategies
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, particularly those requiring Mandarin-language support
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and project specifications
Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and finance to ensure smooth project onboarding and execution
Manage sales pipelines and maintain detailed records of all business development activities and client interactions
Translate marketing materials, technical documentation, and communications as required to support international business development efforts
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness
Monitor contract fulfilment and ensure post-sale customer satisfaction and retention
Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, market trends, and business development progress to senior management
What we're looking for
Fluent Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) with strong English communication skills
Proven experience in sales, new business development, or account management, preferably within the energy, renewable energy, or engineering sectors
Demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities and develop client relationships from prospecting through contract closure
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities with a track record of successful deal closure
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and industry trends is highly desirable
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all business communications and documentation
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field
Willingness to travel domestically as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
