We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Full-Stack QA Engineer to ensure our software runs flawlessly across every layer.

Position Summary

As a Full-Stack QA Engineer, you will bridge the gap between user experience and system reliability. You will be responsible for validating both our intuitive client-facing interfaces (Frontend) and the complex logic handling patient records, automated notifications, and inventory analytics (Backend). You will champion the quality of features that veterinary clinics rely on every second of the day.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend & User Experience (UX) QA

• Cross-Portal Verification: Perform comprehensive functional testing across distinct user environments: the Clinic Admin Portal, Staff Time Trackers, and the Pet Owner Customer Portal.
• Responsive UI/UX Testing: Ensure seamless usability, design alignment, and navigation flow across both web layouts and mobile views (Android/iOS companion apps).
• Critical Workflow Validation: Validate user-critical pathways like the "3-Step Guided Scheduling" system to ensure booking processes are frictionless and foolproof.
• Error Handling Verification: Test client-facing alerts, pop-up notifications, and form validation triggers to guarantee clear user guidance during input errors.

Backend & Data Integrity QA

• API & Integration Testing: Test RESTful APIs and backend services using tools like Postman or RestAssured to ensure data passes correctly between portals.
• Data Integrity & EMR Auditing: Rigorously verify data storage and extraction rules for electronic medical histories, PDF downloads, and corporate reporting templates.
• Inventory & Logic Validation: Create edge-case test scripts for the portion-control inventory system, ensuring exact mathematics behind item deduction, supplier orders, and financial analytics.
• Notification Engine Checks: Validate the automated backend hooks triggering SMS alerts, confirmation emails, and critical vaccination push notifications.

Automation & Testing Infrastructure

• Hybrid Framework Development: Design, execute, and maintain automated UI testing scripts (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress) alongside backend endpoint automation.
• Role-Based Security Testing: Validate Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) to ensure strict data privacy boundaries between veterinarians, junior staff, and pet owners.
• Regression Testing: Execute standard regression suites ahead of fast-paced deployments to prevent features from breaking under new updates.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or any other computer-related field.
• Experience Level: Fresh graduates are highly welcome to apply! Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in software testing will also be considered.
• Automation: Proven proficiency writing automation test scripts in Javascript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• API Testing: Deep experience with backend verification tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar automated API suites.
• Databases: Strong command of SQL to check backend tables, trace records, and verify live database updates.
• Agile Environments: Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and bug-tracking eco-systems like Jira, GitHub, or GitLab.
