Business Improvement Manager
Qualifications:
Formal Lean Six Sigma training (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred) with demonstrated experience leading improvement initiatives.
Experience from the health care sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
Strong analytical, data-driven, implementation and results-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in facilitation and coaching.
Well-developed stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels, from front-line staff to senior management.
Ability to understand and optimize end-to-end processes.
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to balance patient satisfaction, quality, efficiency and financial performance.
Mature, empathetic and collaborative personality.
Ability to strike the right balance between humility and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Improvement Function
Establish and lead the Business Improvement function in cooperation with the Hospital Management Team.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Support change initiatives and help embed Lean thinking and fact-based decision making into daily operations.
Performance Management
Develop and maintain a system for defining and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Define and implement a hospital Operating System, including governance routines, KPI reviews and action tracking.
Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational performance.
Continuous Improvement
Identify, prioritize and lead improvement projects across the organization.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
Promote fact-based decision making through data analysis and root cause methodology.
Continuously investigate opportunities for improving both internal efficiencies and patient satisfaction.
Monitor and coordinate the portfolio of improvement projects to ensure alignment with hospital priorities.
Capability Building
Train and coach managers and employees in Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
Develop internal improvement capabilities and support the establishment of improvement champions throughout the organization.
Encourage knowledge sharing and best-practice implementation.
Voice of the Customer
Establish systems and procedures for capturing and responding to the Voice of the Customer (Patient).
Ensure that patient feedback is translated into tangible improvement actions.
