Manufacturing Planning Specialist

Production Planning and Scheduling

• Coordinate and align delivery schedules with planned production and actual consumption to maintain seamless operations.

• Evaluate and adjust delivery vs. consumption rates to optimize resource allocation and reduce bottlenecks.

• Oversee the activities of material controllers to ensure proper storage, handling, and issuance of materials in support of production requirements.

• Manage production office storage areas to ensure organized and efficient access to necessary materials and supplies.

• Establish and monitor work schedules for production support staff to meet production goals effectively.

• Promote and uphold workplace discipline, addressing performance and conduct issues as required.

Inventory and Stock Management

• Monitor stock levels of packaging, labels, production consumables, FG (Finished Goods), and bended pipes to prevent shortages and manage inventory effectively.

• Track delivery schedules and purchase orders (POs) for timely replenishment of materials in alignment with production needs.

• Conduct daily transactions of FG and bended pipes, ensuring records are accurately maintained and align with inventory control procedures.

• Lead 5S activities to maintain cleanliness, order, and preservation of materials in the production area.

• Develop and implement preservation practices to prolong the usability and quality of materials and ensure regulatory compliance.

Other Related Tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the PCP team and ensure efficient operations.

• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to PCP team as needed.

Skills

1. Proficient in managing stock levels, purchase orders, and tracking materials within a production environment.

2. Strong skills in analyzing stock data, forecasting needs, and scheduling deliveries to align with production demands.

3. Ability to accurately monitor and record inventory transactions, ensuring alignment with production requirements.

4. Skilled in managing production support staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining discipline within the workforce.

5. Familiarity with 5S principles and lean practices to ensure efficient, organized, and safe working conditions.

6. Competency in using Excel, Word, and MC Frame software or any alike for inventory management, tracking, and reporting.

• 2-3 years of experience in production planning or a related role within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production scheduling and inventory management.

• Experience in supply chain management or materials planning is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of the end-to-end production process.

• Familiarity with production planning software or ERP systems is preferred, indicating proficiency in using technology to enhance planning and scheduling efficiency.

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as production, warehouse, and logistics, to achieve operational goals and improve processes.

• Prior experience in data analysis and reporting, including the ability to utilize analytical tools to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
