Job Description:
We are looking for an Event Project Manager who will be responsible for making sure that Event Organizers have a smooth experience using Gevme throughout the entire journey of their virtual events. A successful candidate is one who is able to respond well under pressure and
has both skills and experience in Project Management in an event setting.
Responsibilities:
The Gevme Event Project Manager must perform various functions:
- Meet clients to gather project specifications
- Define the scope of the project, roles, and responsibilities along with various stakeholders
- Occasionally participate in pre-sales advisory and scoping to the Sales Team on proposals and pitches for business
- Maintain project time frames, estimates, and status reports
- Responsible for the management of complex problems and the development of processes for scheduling and administration
- Prioritize requirements and define the scope to meet market needs in a timely manner given available resources
- Educating clients with the onboarding process and training when required
- Partner with customer operations to identify areas in need of improvement to increase customer satisfaction and decrease support requests
- Anticipate problems and complications, and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of the project
- Assume responsibility and drive ownership for issue resolution
- Accountable for on-time service delivery, service quality, cost, and operations
- Provide feedback to our Product team if there are clients’ requests for new product features
- Work closely with the Sales team on projects handover and documentations
Requirements
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in the digital side of event planning (event registration, event website etc.)
- Proficient in project management software
- Ability to focus and pay attention to details at all times
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision
- Diploma or Degree in any IT-related discipline is a bonus
- 2+ years of relevant working experience in a project management setting for events or IT projects
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing
- Experience in GEVME a plus
