About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to join our engineering team at our facility in South Cikarang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the development, design, and optimisation of automotive systems and components. As an Engineer, you will contribute to the strategic objectives of PT FTS Automotive Indonesia by applying your technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges and drive continuous improvement across our operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Design, develop, and test automotive systems (PLC Program) and components using industry-standard tools and methodologies for new and existing systems.

2. Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support product development initiatives

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management to ensure successful project delivery.

4. Perform system integration testing and validate designs against specification requirements

5. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures in accordance with company standards

6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

7. Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities for manufacturing and operational challenges (PLC hardware and software).

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification

2. Fresh Graduate or Proven experience in systems engineering, automotive engineering, or related technical field

3. Proficiency in Mitsubishi, Keyence, and Omron PLCs.

4. Knowledge of automotive industry standards (ISO, IATF, or equivalent)

5. Able to create electrical drawings.

6. Able to design HMI programs.

7. Proficient in Python programming language (an added advantage)
