Dewa Cafe is looking for a passionate and motivated Pastry Commis (Pre-opening Team) to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys baking, pastry preparation, and learning from experienced chefs while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) graduate, preferably with a Culinary or Hospitality background.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, cafe, restaurant, or hotel.

• Basic knowledge of pastry, bakery, and dessert preparation.

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

• Willingness to learn and develop pastry skills.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery items.

• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily operations.

• Ensure consistency in product quality and presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations.

• Properly store ingredients and finished products according to company standards.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.

• Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.

• Support the Pastry Chef and senior kitchen team in daily operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
