ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring Barista to lead beverage and food service at Oasis Padel. Your primary workplace is behind the bar - preparing and serving drinks and food orders, maintaining a clean and professional bar environment, and delivering a high standard of service on every order.

At Oasis Padel, great bar service does not stop at the counter. During your shift you will be responsible for the full guest experience across the venue - from welcoming guests on arrival, to ensuring seating and court areas are clean and ready, to collecting payment and supporting the team wherever needed. Every member of our team takes pride in the whole experience, not just their station.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bar Operations - Primary Duties

• Prepare and serve beverages and food orders to the standard required by Oasis Padel

• Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar at all times

• Receive and process orders accurately, confirm each order before preparation

• Handle cashless transactions, issue receipts, and reconcile accounts at end of shift

• Conduct opening and closing bar checklists including temperature logs, expiry checks, and stock counts

• Upsell and recommend menu items naturally and in keeping with our guest experience standards

Guest Experience - Shift Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly on arrival and direct them to the correct area

• Deliver food and drink orders to tables and court areas

• Ensure all seating, court, and common areas are clean, tidy, and guest-ready throughout the shift

• Respond to guest requests promptly - proactively, not reactively

• Support the reception area during peak arrivals and court changeovers when required

• Assist with wellness recovery area preparation and towel collection when required

• Report any guest complaints or unresolved requests to the Shift Supervisor immediately

• Maintain personal presentation and uniform standards throughout every shift

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bar, F&B, or hospitality experience - required

• Experience in a beach club, hotel bar, restaurant, or lifestyle venue is preferred

• Conversational English is mandatory - our guests are predominantly international

• Additional languages are a significant advantage

• Friendly, energetic, and genuinely service-oriented personality

• Takes pride in a clean, well-presented bar and work environment

• Comfortable working across the full venue when the shift requires it

• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
