Job Summary:
The Technical Assistant is responsible for supporting the installation, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. The role ensures that machines operate efficiently, minimizes downtime, and assists in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and operating production machinery and equipment.
- Support technical personnel during machine setup, adjustment, and operation.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting machine breakdowns, malfunctions, and operational issues.
- Perform routine inspections of machines and equipment to identify potential problems.
- Assist in conducting preventive maintenance activities according to the established maintenance schedule.
- Help replace worn-out or defective machine parts and components as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of machines, tools, and work areas.
- Record machine issues, maintenance activities, and repairs in maintenance logs and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Coordinate with production personnel regarding machine conditions and maintenance requirements.
- Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
- Safeguard maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts from loss or damage.
- Perform other technical and maintenance-related duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of Technical-Vocational Course, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
- With experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Physically fit and willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, and weekends when necessary.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to be assigned to production and maintenance areas.

- Can Drive 4 wheels (Manual and Automatic)
