POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to lead and support the delivery of In-Building Solution (IBS) projects. The role involves coordinating design, supervising installation, and ensuring optimal performance of IBS systems, while maintaining compliance with technical standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of IBS components such as cabling, antennas, and equipment.
- Ensure all activities align with approved designs, technical specifications, and client expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, building administrators, and internal teams.
- Monitor daily site operations and track project progress.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electronics, or related field).
- PRC Engineering License is an advantage.
- Prior experience in Telecom, IBS, DAS, or related projects preferred.
- Knowledge of structured cabling and network systems is a plus.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- RF Engineering Knowledge
- Strong understanding of RF principles, signal propagation, and indoor coverage optimization
- IBS / DAS Experience
- Experience in In-Building Solutions (IBS) or Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) design and implementation
- Network Technologies
- Familiarity with 2G/3G/4G/LTE and 5G technologies
- RF Tools & Software
- Knowledge of RF planning and analysis tools (e.g., iBwave or similar tools)
Job Type: Project-based for one (1) year (with opportunity for extensions and being absorbed as regular employee)
