- IIEF (iief.or.id) is an Indonesian foundation (Yayasan) with more than 40 years of experience managing various in-country and international scholarship and training programs on behalf of various donor institutions. IIEF develops its expertise in four core areas, i.e.: (i) Scholarship Management, (ii) Capacity Development Initiatives (e.g.: leadership, university partnership, internship, entrepreneurship, NGO capacity building, etc.), (iii) Services to Education, and (iv) Testing and Certification.
- IIEF is the sole representative of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in Indonesia, and we are responsible for administering TOEFL ITP® tests nationwide. Since 2023, IIEF has also managed the TOEFL® Lounge, a dedicated information and service center for prospective TOEFL test takers in Indonesia. This initiative ensures that the public has access to accurate and comprehensive information about the TOEFL®.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Marketing Specialist, you will drive business growth, expand our institutional network, and promote world-class educational assessments:
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct research to build and maintain comprehensive databases of high-potential corporate and institutional customers.
- Oversee, promote, and expand institutional partnerships specifically for IIEF Center Makassar, optimizing its market presence among universities, schools, and corporate institutions in South Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesia.
- Sales & Telemarketing: Execute strategic telemarketing campaigns and manage technical requisition meetings to identify client needs.
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct rigorous research to build robust databases of high-potential clients, educational networks, and institutional buyers.
- Client Advisory: Handle incoming inquiries from potential institutional partners and individual test-takers across all channels (phone, email, and social platforms) with a strict customer-first orientation.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare, evaluate, and present regular marketing intelligence, sales pipelines, and partnership progress reports to senior management.
- B2B Presentations: Prepare and deliver tailored, impactful presentations to prospective institutional clients.
- Client Advisory: Handle incoming inquiries from potential partners and participants professionally via phone, email, and social communication platforms.
- Target Achievement: Drive sales and maximize revenue for TOEFL iBT and TOEFL ITP tests to meet organizational growth targets.
- Event Management: Organize and actively execute experiential marketing activities, including education expos, career fairs, and targeted school/university visits.
- Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with existing and new clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Marketing Communication, Public Relations, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in marketing and sales of educational products.
- Demonstrated background in telemarketing, event organizing, and B2B sales within the education sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel skills are highly preferred) and active management of business Social Media applications (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
- Network: Possess an established, proven professional network with universities, schools, and corporate institutions.
