Shipping & Transhipment Operation Supervisor

Requirements:

• Min D-IV / Bachelor of Applied Science in Nautical Studies or related maritime education.

• Hold minimum ANT III Certification.

• Having min 2 years experience as Shipper or similar position in shipping and transhipment operations.

• Experienced in coal loading activities at offshore / transhipment area.

• Understand Ship-to-Ship (STS) operation, cargo loading, draft survey, stowage plan, and shipping documentation.

• Understand marine safety, port regulations, and shipping operational procedures.

• Understand Laytime, Demurrage, and Despatch calculation and mitigation.

• Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken, especially for communication with vessel crew, buyer, and ship owner.

• Computer skilled, especially Microsoft Office.

• Having leadership, coordination, supervision, problem solving, decision making, and negotiation skills.

• Willing to work at offshore / Area Loading Point in shift or extended working hours.

Job Descriptions:

• Act as company representative on board Ocean Going Vessel (OGV) and responsible for overall transhipment operations at Area Loading Point Adang Bay.

• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate Shipper / Transhipment Operation team during Ship-to-Ship (STS) coal loading activities.

• Coordinate with Mother Vessel regarding loading plan, stowage plan, vessel readiness, and operational schedule.

• Ensure coal loading activities are carried out in accordance with operational procedures, productivity targets, and safety requirements.

• Coordinate with Floating Crane / Floating Loading Facility, tugboat, barge, surveyor, vessel crew, and related stakeholders during transhipment activities.

• Monitor and verify draft survey, loading progress, and daily operational performance.

• Review, verify, and sign operational shipping documents such as Statement of Facts, Loading Report, NOR, Draft Survey, Bill of Lading, and other related documents.

• Monitor Laytime, Demurrage, and Despatch calculation and prepare mitigation plans to minimize Demurrage risk and optimize Despatch achievement.

• Act as decision maker and solution maker for operational issues between Buyer, Ship Owner, vessel party, and operational partner.

• Perform Shipping Planner function by coordinating with internal parties such as QC, Marketing, Production, and related departments to ensure shipment readiness and schedule reliability.

• Ensure implementation of marine safety, port regulation compliance, and company operational standards at transhipment area.

• Prepare and submit daily operational reports to management.

• Lead, coach, evaluate, and develop the competency of the Shipper / Transhipment Operation team.
