About the role

RSIA Ummu Hani is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (Dokter Umum) to join our medical team. This is a full-time position based in Kabupaten Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah. As a General Practitioner, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing comprehensive medical services to individuals and families across a range of health conditions. This role is strategically important to our healthcare delivery mission, ensuring that patients receive quality primary care and appropriate medical guidance within our facility.

Key responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough patient consultations and clinical examinations to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

2. Develop individualised treatment plans and provide evidence-based medical advice to patients

3. Prescribe medications and medical treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices

4. Perform routine clinical procedures as required within general practice scope

5. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records and documentation

6. Refer patients to specialist services when necessary and provide appropriate clinical follow-up

7. Contribute to patient health education and preventative care initiatives

8. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

9. Participate in quality assurance activities and clinical audits to maintain high standards of care

10. Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, ethical standards and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Medicine (Sarjana Kedokteran) or equivalent qualification from an accredited medical institution

2. Valid medical licence (Surat Izin Praktik - SIP) issued by the appropriate Indonesian medical regulatory authority

3. Completion of compulsory health service obligations (WAJIB KERJA) or exemption documentation if applicable

4. Current professional registration and membership with the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI)

5. Proven clinical experience in general practice or primary healthcare settings

6. Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills

7. Excellent communication abilities with patients from diverse backgrounds

8. Proficiency in medical record-keeping and electronic health information systems

9. Commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining clinical knowledge

10. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

11. Compassion, patience and a patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
