Position Snapshot

- 2–3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
About the Role
This role supports the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of the business by assisting with bookkeeping, invoicing, financial reporting, and operational coordination. Working alongside the General Manager, you'll help maintain accurate financial records, support business operations, and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You'll Be Working On
Finance & Bookkeeping
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Prepare invoices, perform account reconciliations, and assist with cash flow monitoring.
- Record bills and financial transactions using Xero and Tradify.
- Generate financial reports and monitor outstanding customer and supplier payments.
Administration & Operations
- Coordinate technician schedules and support job planning activities.
- Maintain client information, job records, and administrative databases.
- Process supplier invoices and assist with general operational reporting.
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Respond to finance and administration-related inquiries through phone and email.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare business documents, correspondence, and provide day-to-day administrative support.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
- Practical experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general bookkeeping tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Dependable, proactive, and willing to continuously learn and grow.
