Job Title: BI Platform Engineer – Data Development

Location: Sunter II, North Jakarta (Full WFO)

Employment Type: Contract (3 months, extendable)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BI Platform Engineer – Data Development to support data migration and reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating semantic model sources, validating data accuracy, and preparing migration-related documentation. This role requires strong Power BI expertise, SQL knowledge, and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing semantic model sources from Cloudera/Fabric to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Validate and ensure data accuracy between migrated semantic models and existing data sources through comparative analysis.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to migration activities and technical processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project implementation and data validation efforts.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies during migration and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with data quality standards and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in Power BI Development.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Power BI development and reporting.
• Strong understanding of basic Transact-SQL, including:

1. SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, HAVING
2. JOIN operations
3. Basic logical statements such as CASE WHEN

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Big Data environments.
• Ability to create and maintain simple technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in validating data consistency between databases and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
