Key Responsibilities
Perform engineering design and technical planning for PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid).
Conduct PV capacity calculations, inverter and battery sizing, and balance of system design.
Prepare and review technical drawings including PV layout, SLD, grounding, and wiring diagrams.
Conduct energy yield analysis and system optimization.
Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
Review shop drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
Supervise technical installation activities at project sites.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and performance verification of PV systems.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Prepare engineering reports, BOQ, as-built drawings, and performance reports.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, PLN Grid Code, and HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a PV / Solar Engineer, with exposure to utility-scale, commercial, or industrial PV projects.
Experience in EPC, IPP, or renewable energy development companies is preferred.
Site experience in remote or mining areas is an advantage.
Strong expertise in on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid PV system design.
Proficient in PV system sizing, string configuration, inverter selection, and energy yield analysis.
Advanced proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD; Helioscope and/or SketchUp is a plus.
Solid understanding of IEC, IEEE standards, and PLN Grid Code.
Good knowledge of HSE and electrical safety practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work under project timelines and targets.
Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites.
