Energy Storage Solution Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Storage Solution Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions for utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), microgrid, and backup power applications across Indonesia.

The ideal candidate should possess both strong technical expertise and business understanding of the energy storage industry, with the ability to communicate fluently in English with international customers, partners, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

• Analyze customer requirements and propose optimized system configurations.

• Prepare technical proposals, system design documents, specifications, and tender submissions.

• Support the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.

• Conduct technical due diligence and feasibility studies for energy storage projects.

• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers, EPC contractors, consultants, and customers throughout project development.

• Support project commissioning, testing, acceptance, and technical training activities.

• Monitor industry trends and continuously improve the company's energy storage solutions and offerings.

• Participate in utility-scale, C&I, microgrid, and backup power projects across Indonesia.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Automation, or related fields.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the energy storage, renewable energy, or power industry.

• Experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Battery Systems, BMS, PCS, EMS, Transformers and Switchgear, and Grid Integration

• Fluent English communication skills are a must

• The candidate must be able to conduct technical discussions, presentations, documentation, and supplier communications in English.

Technical Skills

• Ability to develop technical proposals, system configurations, and solution designs.

• Familiarity with utility-scale energy storage, C&I ESS, microgrids, and backup power applications.

• Experience with technical and commercial bid preparation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools is preferred.

• Knowledge of PLN standards and Indonesian power industry practices is an advantage.
