Senior BDM to drive sales growth, develop high?value B2B partnerships, and expand project and retail channels for a luxury maker of bespoke handblown Bohemian crystal chandeliers. Responsible for closing specification deals with interior designers, architects, luxury hoteliers, high?end retailers and distributors, and for building long?term relationships that position the brand as a market leader.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow revenue from projects, showrooms, and distributor partnerships.
Identify, target and close specification opportunities with interior design studios, architects, luxury hotels/resorts, yacht/estate designers, high?end retail showrooms and lighting specialists.
Manage end?to?end sales process for bespoke projects: client discovery, concept/specification, costing, sample approvals, production coordination, delivery and after?sales support.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline; forecast revenue and report monthly results and market insights to leadership.
Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals and contracts, and manage pricing and margins for bespoke orders.
Develop relationships with international and local distributors, agents, and showroom partners; onboard and train partners on product, craftsmanship and brand story.
Represent the brand at trade shows, luxury design events, client presentations and site visits.
Collaborate with design, production and logistics teams to ensure feasibility, timelines, quality control and client satisfaction.
Create sales materials, technical spec sheets, pricing tools and sample kits that communicate craftsmanship and customization options.
Must?have qualifications
5+ years B2B sales/business development in luxury lighting, bespoke decorative lighting, high?end furniture, or luxury interiors.
Proven track record closing project and specification deals with interior designers, architects, hotels, or luxury retail.
Deep understanding of bespoke product sales cycles and ability to manage complex custom orders.
Strong network within luxury interiors, design studios, architects, hotel purchasing, or high?end retail (preferred).
Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Familiarity with technical lighting specifications, installation requirements and production constraints.
Fluent in local language and good English for international client communication.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, showroom visits and trade events.
Nice?to?have
Experience with Bohemian crystal, artisanal lighting, or European luxury brands.
Contacts among luxury hotel chains, interior design networks or high?end architects.
Experience managing distributor/agent contracts and commissioning showroom installs.
