The Account Payable (AP) is responsible for managing the company’s end-to-end payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting efficient cash flow management within a multinational logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure all invoices are properly supported and approved in accordance with company policies

  • Prepare and execute payment runs (bank transfers, checks, etc.)

  • Maintain and update accounts payable records and documentation

  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements

  • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

  • Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP functions


Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance roles

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong sense of responsibility

  • Able to manage high-volume transactions and meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills


Language & Skills

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a strong advantage

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., basic formulas, reconciliation)

  • Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is preferred

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a structured, multinational environment
