About the role
Shape Haus is seeking a dedicated and professional Butler & Assistant to join our team in Klungkung District, Klungkung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service throughout our property. As a Butler & Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of our front office and guest services operations, ensuring that every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
Provide personalised concierge services and guest assistance, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs with professionalism and discretion
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with efficiency, warmth and attention to detail
Maintain impeccable standards of personal presentation and professional conduct at all times
Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Arrange transportation, dining reservations, local experiences and other guest amenities as requested
Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to enhance their stay
Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all guest information and interactions
Perform general administrative tasks and support duties as required
Ensure the front office and common areas remain immaculate and welcoming at all times
What we're looking for
Prior experience in a butler, concierge or luxury guest services role, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage warmly with diverse guests
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in all tasks
Proficiency in English; additional languages are highly desirable
Impeccable personal grooming and professional presentation standards
Discretion, integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
Knowledge of the Bali region, local attractions and cultural practices is advantageous
Familiarity with property management systems and booking platforms is beneficial
