Job Description
Design end-to-end IoT system architecture, from hardware selection (sensors, microcontrollers, connectivity) through to the monitoring dashboard for end users.
Install and deploy IoT/Remote Monitoring System devices across multiple sites/locations.
Build monitoring dashboards/applications to display various data from IoT devices (e.g., production data, environmental sensors, device status) in real time.
Integrate data from field devices into cloud databases and present it through visualizations that are easy for users/management to understand.
Prepare technical requirement documents to ensure installation and device specifications meet company standards.
Ensuring the system (including the dashboard) runs according to specifications from installation through go-live.
Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and application/dashboard issues in the field.
Design and build prototypes (PoC/PoT) for new IoT products or systems, including their monitoring interfaces.
Integrate IoT systems with existing industrial infrastructure (PLC, SCADA) using protocols such as Modbus.
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on installation, dashboard development, and system maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Engineering Physics, Computer Systems, Telecommunications, or related field)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IoT Engineer with end-to-end experience: field hardware installation and dashboard/monitoring application development
Proven portfolio of industrial-scale IoT projects (multi-site deployment) that include building dashboards/data visualizations
Proficient in communication protocols: Modbus (for PLC/SCADA integration), MQTT
Experienced with microcontrollers (ESP32 or equivalent) and connectivity modules (LoRa/wireless)
Hands-on experience with field hardware installation (sensors, wiring, monitoring devices)
Able to build monitoring dashboards/web apps — familiar with backend/frontend frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Node.js/Express, or equivalent) for data visualization
Familiar with API integration and cloud databases for storing and displaying device data
Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and system administration, particularly Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in industrial environments.
Willing to be placed in Bitung, Tangerang.
