Site Structural Audit Specialist – Telecommunication Sites

We are seeking an experienced Site Structural Audit Specialist to lead structural assessments, engineering reviews, and compliance audits for telecommunication tower infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance of telecom sites while supporting the successful deployment and operation of tower assets. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Engineering & Technical Assessment

• Conduct structural audits and assessments of telecommunication tower infrastructure, including self-supporting towers, guyed towers, and monopole structures.

• Review and evaluate tower structural integrity, load capacity, and overall compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

• Perform structural calculations, load analysis, and engineering evaluations to ensure tower safety and performance.

• Review and approve structural drawings, engineering reports, and technical specifications.

• Identify structural deficiencies and develop recommendations for reinforcement, remediation, or modification programs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, engineering practices, and emerging technologies in tower infrastructure.

Site Engineering & Audit Management

• Lead site inspections, engineering surveys, and structural investigations across telecommunications sites.

• Review As-Plan Drawings (APD), foundation designs, geotechnical reports, and soil investigation results.

• Analyze inspection findings and prepare detailed technical reports with actionable recommendations.

• Ensure site engineering activities comply with company standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.

• Support tower reinforcement, modernization, and modification projects as required.

Project Management & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, consultants, implementation partners, and CME contractors to support project execution.

• Monitor engineering deliverables to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and project objectives are achieved.

• Maintain accurate engineering documentation, audit records, trackers, and technical reports.

• Ensure all engineering activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and requirements.

• Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives related to tower structural integrity and site safety.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to structural engineers, site engineers, and inspectors.

• Foster collaboration among internal stakeholders and external partners to drive effective project delivery.

• Present audit findings, technical recommendations, and engineering insights to management and stakeholders.

• Support capability building and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, tower engineering, or site engineering within the telecommunications industry.

• Proven experience in conducting structural audits and assessments of telecommunications tower sites.

• Experience in tower reinforcement, structural modifications, and site engineering projects.

• Hands-on experience working with geotechnical reports and soil investigation data.

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of telecommunication tower design and structural analysis.

• Proficiency in tower analysis software such as MSTower, OpenTower, or equivalent.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design tools.

• Solid understanding of engineering standards and regulations, including EIA/TIA, SNI, and International Building Code (IBC) requirements.

• Knowledge of wireless telecommunications infrastructure and tower deployment practices.

• English proficiency is a must.
