About the role

Rawform is looking for a talented and highly reliable Interior Designer to create thoughtful, functional, and buildable interior solutions for residential and hospitality projects.

This role goes beyond producing attractive concepts. We're looking for someone who understands how great design translates into real-world construction, can develop production-ready drawings, communicate confidently with clients, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.

You'll play a key role from concept through implementation, helping shape the client experience while ensuring projects remain practical, commercially viable, and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop interior design concepts for residential and commercial fit-out projects

2. Produce detailed drawings, layouts, SketchUp models, and presentation materials suitable for client approval and production

3. Prepare or assist with BOQs, material selections, and design specifications

4. Present designs and revisions to clients in a professional and confident manner

5. Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure designs are accurately executed

6. Conduct site visits and review installation quality to ensure finished work reflects the approved design

7. Assist with project coordination, timelines, and communication throughout project delivery

8. Maintain organised project documentation and design records

Scope & Authority

This is a design-led role with project coordination responsibilities. The Interior Designer is responsible for developing practical, production-ready designs and supporting successful project delivery. Final commercial decisions, pricing approval, and contract negotiation remain with management.

What we're looking for

1. 5+ years' experience in interior design, preferably within residential or hospitality fit-outs

2. Strong portfolio demonstrating practical, buildable interior design work

3. Advanced SketchUp proficiency, with the ability to produce accurate production drawings

4. Strong understanding of construction methods, cabinetry, materials, and interior detailing

5. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

6. Exceptional attention to detail across drawings, specifications, and site quality

7. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards

8. Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

9. Comfortable collaborating with clients, suppliers, production teams, and contractors

Nice to have

1. Experience preparing BOQs and cost estimates

2. Knowledge of Indonesian construction methods and materials

3. Experience with hospitality, villa, or multi-unit residential developments

4. Familiarity with layout planning for custom furniture and joinery

5. Experience conducting site inspections and quality control
