About the Role

PT Sunshine Food International is looking for a highly driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our quality management system across our food service and catering operations.

Based at our Support Centre in Karawaci, Banten, this role is responsible for ensuring consistent compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and operational excellence across all business units. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, developing quality systems, and fostering a strong food safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and quality management systems across all business units.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, hygiene standards, Halal Assurance System (SJPH), and applicable food safety regulations.

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the company's Halal Assurance System (SJPH), ensuring continuous compliance with Indonesian Halal certification requirements.

• Coordinate internal halal audits, monitor halal critical control points, and work closely with relevant departments to maintain Halal certification.

• Plan and conduct regular internal audits, quality inspections, and compliance assessments.

• Lead food safety and quality training programs to enhance employee awareness and operational compliance.

• Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality incidents, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor quality performance through data analysis and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with Operations, Production, R&D, Supply Chain, and Procurement to maintain consistent product quality and food safety standards.

• Manage supplier quality performance and participate in supplier qualification and evaluation processes.

• Prepare quality reports, audit findings, and compliance documentation for management review.

• Stay updated with industry regulations, emerging food safety trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety within the food manufacturing, catering, hospitality, or food service industry.

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, ISO 22000, and Indonesian food safety regulations.

• Experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-site operational environment.

• Food Safety or Lead Auditor certifications will be an advantage.
