1. He/she shall be responsible to comply with the standard unloading procedure as set either by PAIR Cargo Operations, Bureau of Customs, or the Airline client; (e.g. safe distance of personnel during unlashing of pallet net, palletized breakdown, Etc.).


2. He/she shall be responsible for the opening and unloading of cargo from the ULD. He/she must ensure that upon unloading, all known standard safety practices, the proper stacking procedure of cargo, segregation, and transport of special load must be observed at all times.


3. He/she shall be responsible to assist the checkers during unloading according to the actual air waybill (AWB) and house airway bill (HAWB) label attached to the shipment before sending it for storage. He must ensure the quality and integrity preservation of the packaging and the cargo. He/she is required to inform the checkers, supervisors, or higher competent authorities within the department of any irregularities found throughout the duration (receiving, storage, and releasing) of the handling process.


4. He/she shall be responsible for performing daily “basic” equipment safety checking and accountability procedures such as recording of borrowing and return of hand pallet trucks or other equipment/tools provided to aid in the performance of his task.


5. He/she shall be responsible to assist the equipment operator to retrieve and decongest import shipments from various areas (including ramp) and maximize accommodation at the breakdown and staging areas. Also, to act as a guide/spotter during unloading, storing, releasing, or transport of the shipment.


6. He/she shall be responsible to ensure proper information and dissemination to the rest of his/her team members of the total number of incoming ULD to be unloaded based on assigned priorities in the Airline cargo manifest. He/she shall assist the equipment operator in the retrieval and return of ULD from the designated area to and from the warehouse. He/she must ensure to check all dolly locks are engaged before towing the ULD to and from the warehouse. Providing assistance as a guide for the equipment operator for safe transport and movement is a must at all times.


7. He/she shall be responsible for the safekeeping, locating, and delivery of assigned shipments based on the Master air waybill and house airway bill. He/she will maximize the space allocated when placing the shipment in the storage rack without compromising the safety of cargo, equipment, and personnel. He/she shall ensure to visually check the accuracy of details of the air waybill label on the carton box and physically count declared pieces, check the condition of each package, and report any further or additional irregularity to Supervisors before handover to the consignee representative.

8. He/she shall be responsible for assisting, performing, and recording “authorized cargo and equipment movement only” from one area to another.


9. He/she shall be responsible to write authorized specific markings only on the arrival cargo, as required by the Bureau of Customs such as registry and flight number, and arrival date as much as possible. He/she shall ensure all markings are readable at all times.


10. He/she shall be responsible for performing general office work and operating office equipment. He/she shall assist with pick-up and delivery of company documents, materials, or any other item deemed necessary. He/she shall be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, proper sanitation, orderliness, and stock replenishment if necessary.


11. He/she may be assigned to perform, maintain, and organize inventories and reconcile reports to ensure records are up to date.


12. He/she may be assigned as a team leader to manage and lead a team of personnel within his/her level. He/she may communicate to a particular initiative, group, or project for the achievement of the company’s directive as long as deemed necessary.


13. He/she shall be responsible for keeping the office/warehouse clean and tidy. Proper disposal of debris must be observed at all times. He/she shall ensure to retrieve, secure, monitor, and record all company and client equipment/properties until return if necessary.


14. He/she must successfully complete and pass all training requirements (regulatory or non-regulatory) provided by the company, its clients, or governing authorities.


15. He/she shall be responsible for observing, promoting, and complying with the safety and security policies, and procedures of the company, its clients, or governing authorities


16. He/she shall be responsible for complying with the policies of the Company especially those concerning health, sanitation, safety, and security standards. He/she shall ensure adherence to the uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPEs) if applicable (such as safety vests, safety shoes, earplugs, raincoat and rain boots, and gloves) at all times


17. He/she is required to report immediately any activities that may lead to violations of Company’s Employee Code of Discipline (ECD), health and safety protocols, criminal acts, standard operating procedure, or any other acts that may lead or cause any form of damages detrimental to the company, its operation and personnel, clients and governing authorities.


18. He/she must ensure that any action either for the benefit of the client, the Airline, the Company, or any other particular individual or group not covered by his/her job description or responsibility is authorized by his/her superior.


19. He/she may be required to perform official business errands or tasks related to company business operations.


20. He/she must be willing to perform any other lawful work-related task that may be assigned to him when needed.
