About Us
Mesh403 is a cutting-edge Zero-Trust Data Mesh platform. We provide highly governed, secure, and decentralized data exchange capabilities. Our ecosystem allows organizations to share and collaborate on data through rigorous service governance, delegated file transfer nodes, and event-driven architectures.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with a strong eye for UX/UI design to build captivating and intuitive interfaces for the mesh403 data platform. You will play a critical role in translating complex governance, lineage, and data-sharing mechanics into seamless user experiences.
This role focuses on two primary development pillars:
The Product Catalog Browser: Building discovery and cataloging capabilities for our core mesh403 Atlas and Xchange solutions.
The Service Invocation Client Application (Edge Client): Developing edge-facing applications (e.g., browser extensions or desktop clients) to interact with governed mesh403 services, starting with our landmark File Transfer Service.
Key Responsibilities
Product Catalog Browser
Build a global list view that presents cataloged data products as human-readable entries.
Implement search and filterable discovery using indexed product metadata.
Design structured metadata panels that render complex information without requiring raw JSON inspection.
Develop UI components to display effective access posture, legal constraints, and compliance badging.
Build interactive lineage visualizations that trace data products backward to ancestral dependencies.
Visualize execution context topology, highlighting the Nodes, Activity Templates, and Services involved in production.
Edge Client Application
Develop a reusable edge invocation interface for interacting with service sidecars using brokered identity.
Create streamlined file upload workflows featuring intuitive drag-and-drop file interactions.
Implement dynamic invocation panels that adapt their design based on the contract type of the selected operation.
Build advanced interfaces for metadata attribute mapping when operations require specific governance wrappers.
Automate token exchange workflows upon application detection to ensure a seamless authentication experience.
Design UI feedback for asynchronous invocation tracking, allowing users to follow job states (submitted, processing, complete, failed).
What You Will Build
A "Private Dropbox" Edge Experience: You will build the front-end workflows for our Delegated Escrow Node architecture. This hub-and-spoke model facilitates secure, multi-tenant file transfers. You will ensure the client supports simple file drops as well as domain-specific, metadata-enriched custody transfers.
Governed Operation Discovery: You will design interfaces that allow users to discover available service operations without embedding hardcoded routing or trust assumptions in the front-end code.
Access Control & Entitlements: You will build summarized, user-friendly access control configurations that present default data entitlement groups and expose available trusted data groups for selection.
Action-Oriented Interfaces: You will ensure product access actions are exposed as direct controls (e.g., download, view connection profile) rather than requiring users to manually extract raw URIs from metadata
Qualifications & Requirements
Extensive experience in modern Front-End frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and state management.
Proven ability to translate complex backend architectures (API gateways, event-driven backbones, identity brokers) into streamlined UI/UX.
Experience building edge clients, browser extensions, or desktop client applications.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, specifically for data-heavy platforms, cataloging systems, or search interfaces.
Familiarity with OAuth2, JWTs, and token-based authentication workflows on the client side.
Ability to render complex data structures (like graphs and lineage maps) interactively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with backend governance and data plane engineering teams.
