The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that support web and mobile applications. This role enhances existing systems, modernizes legacy code by migrating CoffeeScript to TypeScript, and ensures the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services for web and mobile applications.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing systems and codebases.
  • Migrate and optimize legacy CoffeeScript code into TypeScript to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-tested code following development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with CoffeeScript and at least 3 years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Strong background in database technologies, including MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services such as CloudFormation, API Gateway, and AppSync/GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools, including Jenkins, DataDog, and Loggly.
  • Proficient in frameworks and libraries such as Express, Lodash, Knex, and Sequelize.
  • Experience working with microservices architecture and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
