Responsibilities:

  • Manage apparel sample development from prototype to final approval.

  • Conduct fit reviews and assess garment construction, quality, and workmanship.

  • Communicate technical corrections and development feedback to vendors.

  • Drive costing discussions, MOQ negotiation, and margin optimization with suppliers.

  • Resolve development issues related to fabric performance, trims, shrinkage, color, wash, and construction.

  • Maintain development tracking, monitor progress, and flag risks or delays.

  • Partner with QC/QA teams to ensure production feasibility and quality compliance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Product Development, or related field.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in apparel product development, with at least 2 years in managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of apparel fabrics and garment construction.

  • Solid vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and timeline-driven.
