Roles & Responsibilities:

Bali Bird Park is dedicated to caring for the planet and protecting animals and nature. Conservation education is intrinsic in all interactions with the Group, to inspire action for a healthier world.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide proper and consistent husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training, enrichment, and presentation of the animals to achieve the highest level of positive welfare as per the WRS Animal Welfare Code.

• Identify and report any abnormalities, signs of possible health concerns and/or behavioural issues in animals.

• Complete daily recordkeeping forms for feeding, weights, behaviour, training, and enrichment as required.

• Report repairs and renovations as required.

• Maintain the highest quality of animal presentations and guest interactive programmes with the aim to promote conservation.

• Participate in shows as presenter, handler, and/or backstage support.

• Conduct training sessions with assigned animals and behaviours within completion timelines.

• Participate in discussions and contribute to the design and development of new animal behaviours, routines, and presentation ideas for the shows and programmes.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum D1 Level.

• Good Public Speaking

• Good written and spoken communication skills.

• Effective and motivated team player.

• Able to present in front of crowds and work with animals.

• Able to contribute to new concepts and ideas to improve presentations.

• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
