The opportunity

We are seeking a General Practitioner (Medical Informatics Officer) to join our healthcare team in Tangerang, Banten on a full-time basis. This is a unique hybrid role that combines clinical medical practice with medical informatics expertise, bridging the gap between patient care and healthcare technology systems.

In this position, you will leverage your medical background alongside informatics knowledge to optimise our healthcare information systems, enhance clinical workflows, and ensure the effective implementation of medical technology solutions. You will play a pivotal role in translating clinical requirements into technological solutions whilst maintaining direct patient care responsibilities. Key responsibilities

1. Assess and evaluate healthcare information systems, electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical software to ensure alignment with clinical best practices

2. Collaborate with IT departments and healthcare stakeholders to identify healthcare technology needs and recommend appropriate informatics solutions

3. Support the implementation, testing, and optimisation of medical information systems and digital health platforms

4. Develop clinical workflows and protocols that integrate effectively with existing healthcare technology infrastructure

5. Provide clinical validation and quality assurance for health information systems and data management processes

6. Offer training and support to clinical staff on effective use of medical informatics systems and tools

7. Monitor and analyse clinical data to identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency gains

8. Contribute to health information governance policies, data security protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations

9. Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure clinical input on healthcare technology projects and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid license to practise as a General Practitioner in Indonesia

2. Experience working in a clinical setting with a demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical excellence

3. Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems, electronic medical records, and digital health technologies

4. Understanding of medical informatics principles, clinical workflows, and healthcare data management

5. Certification or formal training in medical informatics or health information management (preferred)

6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge clinical and technical language for diverse audiences

7. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset to assess clinical and technical challenges

8. Experience in healthcare technology implementation or health information system projects (preferred)

9. Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards

10. Collaborative approach to working across clinical, IT, and administrative departments

11. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in medical informatics

12. Fluency in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken
