Job Purpose:
Drive strategic business growth and revenue through direct sales, channel partnerships, and targeted marketing initiatives. This role specifically involves managing channel partner relationships and growing the business for IT security solutions where the company is designated as a distributor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Sales:
- Identify, engage, and secure new customers to grow market share and revenue for IT security solutions.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
2. Channel Management:
- Act as primary liaison for resellers and channel partners for assigned distributor solutions.
- Conduct partner enablement through training, technical support, and sales resources.
- Monitor channel performance and provide strategic guidance to improve partner sales.
3. Marketing Campaigns and Roadshows:
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives and demand-generation campaigns focused on solution awareness and lead generation.
- Organize and coordinate successful roadshows, workshops, webinars, and partner events.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and internal marketing to measure and optimize ROI from campaigns and events.
4. Strategic Partnership Development:
- Foster strong vendor relationships to align sales and marketing strategies and achieve mutually beneficial growth objectives.
5. Reporting and Forecasting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on pipeline status.
- Analyze performance metrics to continually refine and enhance sales and marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in business development and sales, specifically within IT security solutions.
- Proven experience managing and developing channel partners and distributor relationships.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing marketing campaigns, roadshows, or related events.
- Project Success Record:
- Briefly summarize (in your CV or cover letter) notable projects or significant client wins you led or contributed to in previous roles, highlighting the scope and value delivered.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of IT security solutions (endpoint security, SIEM, cybersecurity frameworks, network security).
- Comfortable presenting and communicating technical concepts clearly to various audiences.
- Skills:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker capable of planning, organizing, and executing independently.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to multitask effectively.
- Adaptable to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications) are advantageous.
