About CLAY

CLAY Bali is a premium restaurant and lounge concept in Ubud inspired by fire, clay, Silk Road culture, warm hospitality, tea, hookah and long evenings around the table.

We are looking for a Host / Hostess to become the first point of contact for our guests.

At CLAY, the guest experience starts before the table. The host must create a warm, elegant and professional first impression from the moment the guest arrives.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally.

• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting guests.

• Follow guests to their tables.

• Explain the basic CLAY concept when needed.

• Coordinate table flow with Restaurant Manager and service team.

• Support guest arrival, seating and goodbye experience.

• Manage WhatsApp / reservation communication if assigned.

• Keep host area clean, organized and ready.

• Handle fully booked situations politely.

• Support VIP guests, special occasions and guest requests.

• Communicate clearly with waiters, managers and security / parking team.

Requirements

• Experience as Hostess, Host, Receptionist, Guest Relations or Front Office is preferred.

• Experience in restaurant, hotel, villa, lounge or hospitality is a plus.

• Good English is required.

• Bahasa Indonesia is required.

• Friendly, calm and professional communication.

• Well-groomed and clean presentation.

• Organized and responsible.

• Comfortable speaking with international guests.

• Able to work evenings, weekends and busy service hours.
