Color Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Color Specialist to join PT. Viridi Group Manufaktur Indonesia on a full-time basis. This is a critical position within our manufacturing operations based in Grobogan, Jawa Tengah. As a Color Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring colour consistency, quality, and compliance across our production processes.

Job Descriptions

1. Conducting colour quality assessments and colour matching for products across various production batches

2. Operating and maintaining colour measurement and analysis equipment, ensuring precise calibration and accuracy

3. Developing and implementing colour standards and specifications in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards

4. Documenting colour data, maintaining detailed records, and producing colour quality reports for production teams

5. Collaborating with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure colour specifications are met throughout manufacturing cycles

6. Identifying colour discrepancies and root causes, implementing corrective actions to prevent quality issues

7. Liaising with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet required colour specifications

Requierments:

1. Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry (Dyeing/Textiles), Textile Design, Product Design, Fine Arts, or other relevant fields.

2. Possess at least 1–3 years of Color Specialist experience in dyeing, color matching, or dyeing R&D, particularly within the manufacturing articial flower, textile, or garment industry.

3. Strong technical knowledge of colour science, colour matching techniques, and colour measurement methodologies

4. Familiarity with colour management systems and colour communication standards

5. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle colour variations and inconsistencies

6. Knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes within manufacturing operations

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot colour-related issues

8. Experience with quality control documentation and reporting systems

9. Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production, planning, and quality assurance teams

10. Preferably holds relevant certifications in colour technology, quality assurance, or manufacturing processes

11. Basic computer literacy and experience with relevant software systems
