Job Overview
We are a fast-growing startup focusing on beauty and skincare business in Indonesia. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to oversee end-to-end local marketing strategy, campaign execution and small team management. This role covers localized viral marketing, online influencer cooperation and offline sales events. You will build a practical, high-efficiency marketing closed-loop system to accelerate brand growth, strengthen local market influence, and drive sustainable revenue conversion in Indonesia.
Core Requirement: Deep understanding of Indonesian local culture, social norms, social media trends and local beauty consumer insights. You must be capable of developing localized marketing strategies that fit local market preferences and effectively engage target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Localized Beauty & Skincare Marketing Strategy
Build exclusive, Indonesia-oriented marketing systems and playbooks for beauty and skincare categories. Take charge of brand positioning, annual & seasonal marketing roadmaps, and new product launch planning. Continuously optimize differentiated marketing strategies and competitive tactics based on local market conditions and competitor movements.
2. Omnichannel Marketing Execution (Online Influencer + Offline Event)
Lead integrated online and offline omnichannel marketing to balance brand exposure and sales conversion.
Online: Develop tiered KOL/KOC collaboration strategies, arrange influencer marketing layouts, match suitable creators for different product lines, and continuously optimize content quality, cooperation results and marketing ROI.
Offline: Plan and execute localized offline activities including beauty salons, roadshows, dealer seminars and consumer experience events. Establish standardized offline conversion SOPs to boost offline sales and brand reputation.
3. Local Viral Trend & Hot Topic Marketing
Real-time monitor viral trends, social challenges, and key local festival nodes (Ramadan, Lebaran, etc.) across Indonesian social platforms. Create localized buzz-worthy campaigns and brand topics to drive organic traffic, maximize brand exposure, and build strong local brand mindshare.
4. Build Full Marketing Closed-Loop
Connect brand exposure, content seeding, influencer traffic acquisition, offline experience, user retention and repurchase conversion. Build a replicable and iterable localized marketing closed-loop system to achieve steady and long-term business growth.
5. Local Market Insight & Marketing Optimization
In-depth analyze Indonesian local culture, religious customs, beauty aesthetics, consumer pain points and purchasing behavior. Regularly output market insights to iterate marketing tactics, optimize product selling points and brand communication tone to fit local market demands.
6. Small Team Management & Budget Control
Manage the internal marketing team, arrange and supervise daily work including campaign planning, KOL BD and offline event implementation. Adapt to fast-paced startup operations, flexibly manage marketing budgets, allocate limited resources rationally, track project ROI, and continuously improve overall marketing efficiency.
Job Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of full-cycle brand marketing experience in the beauty & skincare industry; candidates with verified successful marketing experience in Indonesia market are highly preferred.
2. Proven ability to independently plan and execute integrated online influencer marketing and offline salon/roadshow campaigns, with experience in creating localized viral marketing content for Indonesian users.
3. Strong understanding of Indonesian local culture, social media ecosystem, latest viral trends, local beauty influencer landscape and consumer decision-making logic.
4. Systematic marketing thinking, capable of building standardized, executable marketing closed-loop systems that balance brand building and sales conversion.
5. Experienced in small team management and cross-department collaboration; flexible in budget control and resource allocation, able to adapt to fast-paced startup work style.
6. Fluent in English. Candidates with fluent Mandarin speaking and writing skills are prioritized.
