Senior Tax Expert - VAT

Role Overview

Join our VAT core team as a Senior Tax Expert to deal with indirect taxes in a dynamic and international environment. You'll be responsible for VAT-related tasks, including preparing VAT advance returns, providing advice on VAT matters, and optimizing processes related to VAT law.

What You Will Do

Prepare VAT advance returns, file OSS and ZM reports, provide advice on VAT matters, optimize and digitize VAT-related processes, implement e-invoicing, and monitor changes to VAT laws.

Requirements

• substantial experience in tax consulting
• broad knowledge of value-added tax (VAT)
• knowledge of VAT and income tax group structures
• strong self-management skills
• proficiency in using ERP systems
• strong teamwork skills
• analytical, structured, and quality-oriented approach to thinking and working
• very good command of German and English
• proficiency in using various IT programs
