Role Overview
As the Shop & Spa Manager for a luxury beauty and skincare brand, you will be the brand ambassador responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while driving the store’s commercial success. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the luxury service standards that define the brand. This role blends sales leadership, customer relationship management, team development, and in-store brand representation.

Location : Surabaya, Indonesia
Training : 1 - 2 month in Jakarta
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive store sales performance and achieve or exceed sales targets
Develop and implement strategies to increase customer foot traffic and sales conversions
Conduct regular store performance reviews and identify areas for improvement
Team Leadership & Management
Train and develop a high-performing store team
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively
Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service to all store visitors, ensuring a memorable shopping experience
Build strong customer relationships and foster loyalty
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
Store Operations
Ensure the store is always clean, organized, and visually appealing
Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and processing returns
Oversee store maintenance and ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations
Implement visual merchandising guidelines and maintain attractive store displays
Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
Brand Representation
Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Participate in store events and promotions
Maintain a strong understanding of Menard’s brand values and philosophy
Ideal Candidate
3–5+ years of experience in luxury retail, ideally in beauty, skincare and cosmetics
Deep appreciation for Japanese aesthetics, skincare, and prestige consumer experience
Proven track record in store leadership with strong sales and team results
Experience in delivering exceptional customer service in a high-end environment
Passionate about luxury beauty and skincare with deep product knowledge
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and inspire
Excelent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flair for clienteling
Commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Highly organized with a strong sense of aesthetics and store presentation
Comfortable with digital tools (CRM systems, POS, and reporting software)
Must be willing to attend training sessions held in Jakarta for a duration of 1 to 2 months
