A growing shipbuilding and ship repair company located in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading new building, ship repair, docking, and marine fabrication projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements – Project Manager (Shipyard)
Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related disciplines.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the shipyard/shipbuilding industry, including experience handling new building, ship repair, docking, or marine fabrication projects as a Project Manager.
Strong knowledge in project management, project scheduling, cost control, manpower management, and cross-functional coordination with subcontractors and stakeholders.
Good technical understanding of hull construction, piping systems, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and marine classification standards such as BKI, ABS, DNV, or Lloyd’s Register.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Proven experience leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders, including clients, owners, classification societies, and subcontractors.
Proficient in project planning and monitoring tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent software.
Willing to be based in Batam, Indonesia.
