CEMENTING COORDINATOR

The Cementing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing cementing operations at the wellsite, ensuring that all services are delivered according to client specifications, company standards, and industry best practices. The role involves direct engagement with the rig crew, engineering team, and third-party service providers to coordinate pre-job planning, on-site execution, and post-job evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute cementing operations, including primary casing cementing, plug placement, and remedial cementing.

• Coordinate and verify the preparation, mixing, and pumping of cement slurries.

• Perform quality control of cement slurry design, lab testing, and onsite adjustments as required.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges in real time.

• Maintain accurate job reports, cementing logs, and documentation.

• Liaise with clients, drilling supervisors, and service providers for job planning and review.

• Provide technical input for job design and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on cementing experience in oil and gas field operations.

• In-depth knowledge of cementing techniques, equipment, and slurry design.

• Familiarity with Cementing calculation.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Valid certifications related to offshore/onshore safety (e.g., HUET, BOSIET, Well Control).
