On behalf of our client, We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion within Indonesia. This role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales support, targeting industrial customers across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with industrial clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer engagement to proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and end-users.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
- Provide application support and recommend solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Develop market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Support the development of distribution channels and strategic partnerships within Indonesia.
- Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate sales activities and pipeline reporting.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including technical, marketing, and management teams.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales within industrial products, chemicals, adhesives, construction materials, or related industries.
- Experience handling key accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to conduct technical product presentations and customer demonstrations.
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia.
- Own transportation is preferred.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
